An Earnings Beat

Blackstone came out with economic net income of 68 cents per share, which surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 64 cents.

Higher revenues primarily drove the earnings beat.

However, Blackstone does not have a decent earnings surprise history. Before posting the earnings beat in Q4, the company delivered negative surprises in two of the four trailing quarters, with an average miss of 10.7%.

Revenue Came In Better Than Expected

What Zacks Rank Says

The estimate revisions that we discussed earlier have driven a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) for Blackstone.
